"It's easier to use "I" and "me" and "my memory," Sara explained to the class.

"When one walks in and acquires the biological form as a newborn or infant, the change is most usually not noticed. Even when one 'walks in' to a form which is three-to-six years old, the new entity is often seen as a change in personality or disposition."

"Once you choose to share or replace an older pre-existing form, it becomes more complicated, more recognizably altered. You see, by then, the prior or existing entity has years - a lifetime - of memories, contacts and contracts. In a shared or alternating arrangement, the previously existing relationships must be considered. Obligations are in place. One chooses either to honor these or to break away from them. In a replacement, a case where the prior entity has departed, often the new entity must take time to sort out memories. Remember that, upon entry to the form, memories belonging to the entering spirit or energy form are still fresh, so that the entity may be initially more attached to a different place, another history. Conversations may be sprinkled with 'I'-and-'she' or 'me'-and-'her,' for example."

"In time, this form of speaking is stifled in public. The average human has become trained to think that our personality - one single personality - has become fragmented into multiple personalities when they hear the speaker refer to her apparent self as 'she' or 'her.' Further, this represents a state of mental illness: 'something is wrong' to most listeners. An observant few can tell the difference, though, between the fragmented state of one and the entrance of one or more separate entities sharing the physical form with - or even replacing - the original embodied entity."

"Noting that the territory fo such speech and behavior is dangerously marked with easily issued profitable 'drugs-as-filters' for those who see simplistic solutions to misdiagosed non-diseases, one makes the decision to be discreet in speech when in the company of strangers and officials, even family members of the former or currently-sharing occupant. Divorces and other relationship problems are not unusual in cases where there is a complete change of entities or when the new shared arrangement is not compatible with the former arrangements."

"Many times, though not always, the entry of additional or alternating entities has a purpose - a mission - in mind. Perhaps a local or world change is at hand or inventions or other types of knowledge are to be uncovered and the beings who have missions have worked out arrangements for corporeal forms to share or use. Occasionally, the purpose is to help the existing entity complete a task which has become too difficult for them to complete. Follow?"

The students looked confused as one of them asked, "What is the difference between a possession and a walk-in?"

"In many ways they are the same," Sara replied. "In the case of entity sharing or replacement, they are often identical. The issue is that of volition. Generally, in the case of a walk-in, the original entity has agreed - or even requested - that the subsequent lightforms enter. In the case where the original entity was overwhelmed or simply 'finished' with the form, agreement has been reached to allow the first to leave for a 'transformation of materials.' They may return in future or not, as the case may be. Some cases of possession and walk-in are non-volitional and thus the stories about the need for exorcism in negative cases. Simply commanding the new entities in positive cases to move on and return the form are done with light and love if the spirits were simply being opportunists taking advantage of a receptive portal with no harm intended."

"Over time, the sharing entity taps into memory banks of the form and increasingly refers to the form or its memory as her own. Emotions may not be present, however. Tapping the emotions requires using other portions of the brain. In time, if completely interwoven, the new memory storage begins to replace the entity's first recovered abstractions from their other existence - the other side, for one example."

"Can they jump or jump in and out?" another student asked.

"Yes. But that is kept in check by competition. Often one steps out to speak with guides and others while the (body) form rests, even illusory form, if you prefer. One steps out to view more easily, communicate or travel faster or to step down or aside to allow the other entity to communicate using the form."

"Are they just ghosts, then?" another asked.

"What is a ghost?" Sara looked at them with a quiz in mind. "There are other entities - some from other locations - some never human before - who also walk in. And, they sometimes take prefab forms that duplicate a human one. There are numerous similar types. I assume you are referring to deceased former humans when you say 'ghost,' but be careful the reference. You must know what you mean."

"Is the form real, then?" the student asked.

"Is the ceiling real?" Sara replied.    "When one steps out of the form, one can mold the shape of the ceiling and change it back again, without tools. What do you mean, students, by 'real?' Another session. For now, homework. How many entities are in the room right now? Count them as of midnight tonight until ten minutes after. That's all. Class dismissed."

Point to ponder from this story.

"Who am I"
What is a walk-in? A possession? Can you tell the difference? Can you SEE?
