OVERCOMING OBSTACLES TO CREATIVE SUCCESS THROUGH PROJECTION
RIDING A BIKE
31 is the second of the creativity through projection series,
as well as the continuation of the process of creating family.
31 is a subset of the number 4, the builder in form and function.
31 can be likened to a pinball game in which the objective is
to navigate, before an audience of one or many, a series of obstacles
or refusals or difficulties which spring out at the protagonist at every
juncture on the way to achieving a creative goal.
The goal may be the creation of family, image or home. It may be
producing a product or completing a tangible project. Because it
deals with form and function, either labor or the physical body and brain, the
goal is generally physical. 31 may be working to obtain a house or office or
to construct a stage or an airport or a memorable face or bodily form
The nature of the obstacles may vary. It may be financial
difficulty, legal or health problems or all of these.
If 31 is nation- or state-building, the audience in this case will be the
residents, financial, and political supporters and public opinion, as well
as those persons or states or countries who would represent difficulties or
challenge the project legally or militarily.
A 31 whose goal is clear and who has developed the qualities
of tenacity, fierce determination and endurance during periods of crisis
(which could be hours or decades long in duration) will eventually overcome obstacles.
If the goal is tenuous, flighty or one of many options, a wise 31
will set priorities of his own ordering or risk becoming distracted and overcome
by challenges to his resources.
Supporters who believe in 31 or in the goal will be important
because the obstacles can be many, frequent and long-enduring or there
may be one large impediment to overcome, such as a physical
disability, impoverishment, politically dangerous surroundings or hazardous
conditions of nature.
31 can be brilliant, but whatever the goal(s), 31 is learning how to endure
difficulties, rejection of his concepts or scorn due to ignorance or ego.
For 31s who are horizontal thinkers and who may take on numerous
projects at once, life will present an even more full plate of opportunity,
beauty, lessons, disasters, friends, financial quandries and times when 31
will be challenged to explain himself to more singular-linear minded folks. Financial
problems are usually caused in this case by spreading resources over
several equally worthy projects causing each to become stalled or to ultimately fail.
For those 31s who are thrust into the public eye - performers
and politicians, for example - every moment of difficulty becomes fodder for the press
or public gossips, who generally focus on "the moment," therefore giving attention
to the falterings along the way, while not always featuring the
intended goal whose achevement it had been thought,
would justify the frustrations during development.
31 occasionally will attempt to outwit the opposition by shortcuts -
getting around "red tape" - and, just as happens in the
pinball game, "tilts," causing the entire pathway to shut down. 31 then
must start over or give up.
Fundamentally creative 31, as compared to 19, will attempt
creative solutions and creative relationships as a method for
achieving results. 31 does not "use" people but may ask many favors
along the way, intending to repay in some form later or
hoping (in the case of foundations or charities, for example) that the goal itself
will justify the favors.
From childhood, 31 benefits from small 31 challenges to gain the technique
for dealing with the larger ones.
An experienced 31 says, "The impossible just takes a little longer."
Or, "What doesn't kill me just makes me stronger."
A 31 activity: Learning to ride a bike. Before
that successful ride on the bike, how many times did the rider
fall down? Were the falls failures or steps toward ultimate success? Did
someone hold up the rider or provide training wheels to get him
going? Who composes the pyramid that holds up the flyer
in that great cheerleading move?
Typical 31 Activities:
Surmounting Difficulties with support from above

ARE YOU A 31?
Your birth month, day, and year add up to 31.
Your birthday is on the 31st of the month
You were born in a 31 year.
You were the 31st child.
Your address has a 31 in it or
adds up to 31 (this will be an influencing location).
DON'T FORGET TO START WITH THE YEAR YOU
WERE CONCEIVED AND ALSO THE YEAR THAT YOU WERE BORN
If your birthday has more than one 31,
you are a double or triple 31.
If the 31 is combined with a 9, 5 or 7,
you are specializing in the lessens of this vibration
and will feel "larger than life experiences"
or feel the need to turn to a spiritual/creative
solution for such an intense program.
If a 12 or 15 is combined with the 31,
take good care of your health, especially with
alcohol and sex, speed and timing.
Remember, as with all experiences, spirit is given that
which it can handle and the guardians to assist!
