Once upon a time (actually the 60's), there were those who insisted that the "box" life, the crew cut, war, and spies were THE WAY. Long-haired hippies, flower children, psychics, gypsies, musicians, surfers, and laid-back peace lovers were THE ENEMY. Then... along came the cultural revolution - "make love, not war," PEACE signs, the gathering of these millions into THE FORCE, THE POWER that said, "It's All Too Beautiful," and raised their fingers in the P E A C E sign, painted their buses and bodies, lit up the music, the meditation, earings, beads... and made their choice - IGNORE the ones who dwell in the shadows and whisper attempts at defamation, steal lives and livelihoods and who work for the DARK SIDE. CHOOSE light. Candles were lit Bics were flicked OMs were breathed And ALL bequeathed E N L I G H T E N M E N T The many chose peace, music, freedom of thought, lifestyle and life. The ones who lived in the shadows retreated to the darkness. Hidden, the shadows FOLLOWED the light, as shadow follows illuminated ones everywhere.. When Martin Luther King, Jr. said, "I Have A Dream," the shadow world went after him - the shadow always follows the light. Attempts to defame him, silence the message, failed. The DREAM lived and was realized. When John Lennon invited us to "Imagine," the shadow world said, "Deport Him." John reminded us to "Give Peace a Chance", while he was "Just Watching The Wheels Go Round," aware of "Mind Games" and "Instant Karma." Attempts to silence his message failed. We continued to Imagine. Then Asha of Antares came to tell all who would listen: "People of Earth are not now and never have been ALONE." "The one are many now and the many should be one." "STOP THE CARNAGE. Other worlds ARE, The other side IS." The shadow world attempted to silence her, declaring her ENEMY. The message remains... Follow the light. Enlight!
