What is the likelihood in the next minute that you will be dead? Alive? Which is more likely? Rich? Poor? In love? In a state of blissful peace? Will you rest in peace, as they say? Can you live in restful peace, as well? Did you know that while your consciousness is unique, there is a nonzero quantum mechanical probability* that numerous possible outcomes will occur? And that is for each and every moment that you exist. There are 86,400 seconds per each Earth day. So, if a second of time is your unit of measurement (and that is quite a large unit of time),then you have 86,400 times each day that a non-zero quantum mechanical probability that numerous (i.e. nonzero) possible outcomes will occur for any given occurence. Are you following me? To put it simply the potential futures in which you will be rich, poor, alive, dead, or otherwise occupied are many.

Your acts of consciousness (what you do, decide, how you are, how you think and react to what is presented, combined with the conditions with which you are presented these circumstances) determine which future you experience.

If you are a fan of physics, quantum mechanics and the like, you may have heard of "Schroedinger's equation" and you may also have heard about the cat in the box example. Let me put it simply here:  If I place a cat into a box, point a gun at the cat and have the gun connected to a radioactive source which could decay at any time and YOU take the lid off the box -- is the cat alive or dead? You can see how factors of measurement -- up or down spin, for example, as we now do them, can be deceiving or at least insufficient.  Why?  Let's play multiple choice with the example I just gave. Is the cat alive or dead?

a)Alive
b)Dead
c)There is no way to know without more information
d)All of the above
e)None of the above

If you picked c,d, or e, you're following me. There are an infinite number of possible futures and one of those factors is what we call "time." How much time has passed since the lid was put on the box? How much time does the material need to decay?  How long can the cat live inside the box even though it has not been shot?  Did I put the lid on before or after I placed the cat in the box? Did you take the lid off the box before or after I placed the lid on the box?

If you arrived immediately and carefully removed the lid and rescued the cat, that is one possible future. If you came later, but still prior to the gun's firing, that would be another. If you came 3,000 years later another. Or a million or one hundred million years later or one million years or one second prior to my placing the cat in the box. As you can see the factor of time is a huge determinant of result. And what about the players in the scenario? Was the cat alive or already dead when it was placed in the box? Was it frozen or on fire? Did it die of a heart attack upon seeing the gun? Have you thought about the decision making and response of the cat? Did it jump quickly, springing up and unsettling the gun, thereby escaping the box, while the gun went off and shot me instead? The possible futures of this one event would take too long to postulate. And that is one event in a lifetime that has so many of them.... Why do we feel so frozen in our destinies?

The field of quantum mechanics deals with its limitations when it tries to "measure" that which is complex with unknown factors.

Asha will connect you with direct explanations from the OTHER SIDE... and then we will let quantum mechanics have their hand with the explanation provided. In the article you have just read, you see that quantum mechanics does not prohibit the explanation of multiple possibilities for you...

WHY DO YOU LIMIT YOURSELF?

Are the many futures happening at the same time in parallel?
That is a good question you ask and brings up another topic:

Are you in "in phase" or "out of phase?"

To be continued....
